The detachment is announced without any captain because Pat Cummins is not available. Chief coach Andrew McDonald confirmed that Steve Smith or Travis Head will become a team captain and will continue his role in the champion trophy.
The Skin of 16 members consists of a large amount of experienced and fiery power in the hit department. However, the team will miss the services of experienced fast bowlers Pat Cummins and Josh Hazlewood, who are both excluded due to appropriate injuries.
Cummins and Hazlewood have been excluded from the champion trophy earlier. Cummins suffer from ankle injury, while Hazlewood is yet to be fully recovered from hip injury.
