Ryan Garcia returned with his former coach Eddy Reynos, after sharing with coach Derrick James after two fights. Garcia last worked with Reynos on his fight against Luke Campbella 2022 and has been with Joe Goosen and James briefly.
Goosen coached Garcia for three fights against Gervont Davis, Javiera Fortun and Emmanuel Tagoe. Derrick James then took over the last two struggles of Ryan against Devin Haney and Oscar Duarte.
Return to Reynoso
Ryan’s dad, Henry Garcia, revealed that he is now working with Eddy Reynosoom and that he will return to the gym after he withdraws with some running. Kingry was inactive from his victory in blowing over Devin Haney last April because of a one -year suspension given by the Athletic Commission of the New York State.
Garcia will fight Roland ‘Rolly’ Romera in May in New York, as part of the season in Riyadh. Potential conflict
It would be strange if Ryan (24-1, 20 ko) be in the same gym with WBO Light Welterweight Champion Theophimo Lopezas he recently joined with Eddy. Garcia and Teofimo will be expected to fight in February 2026. It is unlikely that Teo and Ryan will be at the gym at the same time, unless he originated from Brooklyn from the way to scout him.
