Philadelphia Steamrolls Kansas City, winning 2. Super Bowla title in franchise history

Cooper Dejean, Josh Sweat and the angry defense of Philadelphia Eagles denied Patrick Mahomes, Travis Kelce and Kansas City in three-peat super bowl.

It was nowhere near.

Dejean got Pick-6 on his 22nd birthday, sweat was tortured by Mahomes, and the eagles withdrew Kansas City 40-22 on Sunday to secure the second championship in the Super Bowl franchise.

Jalen Hurts threw two Touchdown and ran for a hustle and bustle to earn a super -bowl MVP honor, and Vic Fangio’s defense was so dominant that the Eagles did not need much from Saquo Barkley.

Changing the game ended from 57 meters, breaking the record of Terrell Davis for yards that were in a hurry in the season, including the playoffs. Hurts threw on 221 Jardes.

“This is a top team game. You can’t be great without the size of others. A great performance of all – insults, defense, special teams,” said coach Nick Sirianni. “We never worked what someone thought about how we won or their opinions. All we want to do is win.”

Since Donald Trump became the first president in the office to attend the Super Bowl, the Eagles surpassed Kansas City in every aspect, delighted with the awful Profilly audience to celebrate each result with the famous “Fly! Eagles! Fly!”

Even the presence of Taylor Swift couldn’t help Kansas City. They lost for the first time in 10 games this season with a pop superstate in an apartment watching the Boy of Travis Kelce, who did not catch the passage only at the end of the third quarter.

Not in Kansas City’s worst nightmare, his fans envisioned such an unpleasant performance. Kansas City won three of the previous five Super Bowl, losing 31-9 from Tom Brady and Tampa Bay Buccaneers four years ago.

Mahomes was 8-0 against Fangio’s defense before a longtime coordinator, and former Broncos’s main coach surpassed Andy Reid, limiting his first team with his team team. Reid fell to 3-3 in Super Bowls, including loss with eagles.

The eagles have released Mahomes six times, most of his career, including 2 1/2 sweat. And they did it without Fangio calling any Blitz.

“Defense wins the championship,” Hurts said. “We saw how they played today. We saw the difference they made in the game. They gave us opportunities, they gave us short fields. And we are able to do what we do.”

Barkley, offensive player of the year AP NFL 2024, in the first half he rushed only 31 Jardes when Philly built a 24-0 lead.

Kansas City was aimed at becoming the third team in the history of NFL, which won three direct championships and the first to three seals in the Age of Super Bowl.

This time without moss magic

Hurts almost led Eagles to victory against Kansas City two years ago in Arizona, but Mahomes led his return, and Harrison Bucker hit the winning goal in the last minute to win 38-35. Last year, Mahomes gathered Kansas City on an extension victory over San Francisco for the second direct title of Kansas City.

This time, a renovated Philly defense involving eight new starters from the 2022 team, they made sure that Mahomes did not have the opportunity to withdraw his magic.

“Today was a tough day everywhere. Nothing went through. I didn’t train well. I’m proud of our guys to fight. We’ll learn from this,” Reid said. “Too many turns, too many penalties. Against a good football team, he can’t do that.”

Sirianni, who mocked the fans singing “Fire Nick!” During the victory over Cleveland in October, and on national television he was called the “Clown”, he should finally silence the critics by adding a championship ring to the CV, which includes the fifth best percentage of victory in the League history.

Sirianni was showering with Gatorade with almost three minutes in the game, while the spare QB Kenny Pickett took shots at mop-up duties.

Barkley helped push the injured into the end zone of 1 to bring Philadelphia a 7-0 lead in the first quarter.

UP 10-0 after Jake Elliott’s 48-meter goal, Sweat and Jalyx Hunt fired Mahomes in consecutive games. Mahomes then rolled up and made the wrong throw chosen by Dejean, who brought him back 38 meters for a 17-0 lead.

It was Mahomes’ first Pick-6 in 21 career players and ended a series of 297 straight passages without intercepting.

“We didn’t start as we wanted. The pain of pain. I take all the fault for it,” Mahomes said. “I didn’t play according to my standard.”

All-Pro midfielder Zack Baun again chose Mahomes late in the second quarter, and Hurts is associated with AJ Brown on a 12-meter TD pass for a 24-0 lead.

Hurts threw a perfect 46-meter passage by TD Devont Smith to achieve it 34-0 in the third.

Mahomes fired a TD passage from 24 yards to Xavier worth avoiding the exclusion, but the two -point conversion failed. He threw two late, mostly meaningless TD passes, one on Deandre Hopkins and the other to valuable.

After two weeks, the discussion of questionable calls that led to the public perception that officials were favored by Kansas City – the theoretical commissioner of NFL, Roger Goodell, called “funny” – the first penalty of the game just encouraged critics.

The passage of 32 yards from Hurts to Brown to Brown to 18-A Kansas City on the fourth and 2 is denied by punishment for the interference of offensive passages. Brady, now a fox analyst, and served by analyst Mike Pereira, they both did not agree with the call, although Brown pushed Facemasus Trent McDuffie.

At the next estate, the Eagles benefited from an unnecessary penalty for roughness on McDuffie against Dallas Griedert after the incomplete passage of the third and 5.

Hurts was then connected to Riding Dotson on a 27 yard passage to 1 and achieved the next game.

Hurts’ series of 217 passages without choosing ended in the first half when he was overjoyed deeply in the Kansas City territory, but Kansas City did not use.

Green Bay Packers are the only NFL team to win three championships in a row, doing it from 1929-31 and 1965-67.

NBA Los Angeles Lakers from 2000-02.
