If they notice the officers of ICE, they hit the record on their phones. They blow sirens. And through the megaphone, they announce that Ice is in the neighborhood. “They are here.”
“We do not use violence. We do not violate any laws. But we will do whatever is legally possible to defend our community,” said Ron Gochez, founder of the Union del Barrio chapter in Los Angeles.
The group also communicates with each other using Walkie-Tolkies. Activists hope that they can prevent and interfere with ICE activities, because the Federal Agency seems to follow the promises of President Trump about mass deportations.
In one clip, previously live recording of the group, a woman, Lupe Carrasco Cardon, records ICE agents near the local target and yells at her noise that agents are present.
Carrasco, a teacher who is a member of the Pro-Migrant Group’s self-defense coalition, said he wanted to stop migrant families from separation.
“So physically, what we do is to create noise and noise just warns like people in the area that something happens outside,” Carrasco told the socket.
“And then if we see that like an agent of ICE or HSI if they are like knocking on the door, we just remind people of their rights. And the rights are not to speak, they do not open the door and ask for an order.”
She said her group is part of a larger coalition of 70 Los Angeles organizations that say they practice speech freedom and remind people of their rights. ICE officers cannot forcibly enter a home without a court order, who rarely have. They were a campaign to ask people to stay inside and not open the door.

“And so absolutely like we’re not here to protect, you know, criminals or whatever storytelling,” Cardon said. “This is real, really, really about these beautiful people who are very scared at the moment. Their children are very scared. My students come to school with anxiety or come to school at all.”
It is unclear what influence of her group has on ice operations in the area. Fox News Digital reached for Ice and his comment.
