Brooks pointed out a bigger problem in the media during the interview before noting that she was “appalled” by a decision to ban AP.
“I think this is a deeper problem here and this is our job; I hate comment on the media, because I spent my life in it but we have not represented enough Trump votes in the last 40 years, enough working class votes over the last 40 years,” he continued.
“And so, we did it, maybe some of the hostilities that came to us would not be there. And I’m so amazed at what Trump does, but I understand why he does it,” he said.
