Nominated for Labor Minister Lori Chavez-Demer is expected to pass the Committee vote

President Donald TrumpThe candidate for the Minister of Labor is expected to undergo a key vote before the Senate Health, Education, Work and Pension (Aid) Surgery Committee on Thursday after picking up Democrats’ support from Democrats Senator Maggie HassanDN.H.
Past support for Lori Chavez-Demerera to protect the right to organize (PRO) The Law threatened its confirmation last week, when Senator Rand Paul, R-Ky.He said he would not vote for her if she continued to support Pro -act. Paul’s reluctance meant that Chavez-Sudemer would probably need a democratic vote to confirm the key obstacle.
Hassan’s support, as a Democrat on the Assistance Committee, all except confirms that Chavez-Sudemer will pass by the vote of his committee.
“The Ministry of Labor plays an integral role in supporting workers and small businesses, and after hearing significant voters’ support, including union members in New Hampshire, I will support the Nomination of national teams Chavez-Deer for the work secretary,” said Hassan in a statement by Fox News Digital.

“Although we may not agree on everything, after meeting with a representative of Chavez-Demer and listening to her testimony during her certificate hearing, I believe she is qualified to serve as the next Minister of Labor, and I look forward to working with her to support workers and small companies New Hampshire,” Hassan added.
The Chavez-Demer supported the process as a representative for Oregon’s fifth Congress district, but told senators during the hearing of confirmation that she no longer supports the undoing of a law on a job that supports Republican to the process.
The check would effectively kill the laws at the state level that prevent employers and trade unions require that workers pay union fees as a condition of their employment. Republicans oppose the Pest to overturn the law on the right to work.

Chavez-Demer could still earn Paul’s voice after being distant from his professional work during a hearing in Senate. With Hassan’s support, Chavez-Demer no longer relies on Paul for confirmation.
“If she wanted to make a public statement, saying that her support was incorrect and that she was no longer working, then I would think about her nomination,” Paul told Fox News Digital in a statement on the eve of Chavez-Deer.
“So you no longer support the aspect of PRO-Act that would cancel state laws on the right to work?” Paul asked during hearing.
“Yes, sir,” she replied.
Paul’s office did not respond to Fox News Digital’s request for comment on how to vote on the Board today.
