Former Indian versatile Ajay Jadeja has caused a controversy with a humorous comment by comparing the players of the crickets with women during the 2025 ICC champion trophy. After becoming viral on social media platforms, former India captain Sunil Gavaskar asked Ajay Jadeja about his statement.
Speaking to Ten Sports’ Show ‘The Hagittless’, Jadeja compared the players of a cricket with a married life, joking that a person expects something, but it really understands it after experiencing it. His comment was left by the anchor and fellow panelists in separation, but he caused criticism of fans, who did not love the ether objections.

Sunil Gavaskar asked Ayay Jadej about his viral remarks during the same show. In response, Jadeja explained that the discussion was initially revolved over the conditions of slope before moving into a slight analogy. He added that the same analogy could be applied to husbands.

Gavaskar responded to Jadeji’s explanation with a humorous remark. He asked if the “results” in this case were similar to the test match that ended after five days.
