Mexico extradited 29 drug cartel Members of the United States in the midst of the upcoming promise of the President Donald Trump In the middle of Trump promised to impose stiff tariffs on Mexican imports.
People extradited on Thursday included Rafael Caro Quintte, Kingpin Kingpin, who was charged with the 1985 drug agent in the United States Enrique “Kiki” Camaren.
“A group of cartel members … includes one of the most interesting cartel bosses in the world,” the White House states.
In the same statement, the White House said Trump “sent the Ministry of Justice and the State Ministry to happen, and the Attorney General [Pam] Bondi and State Secretary [Marco] Rubio did a huge job in that.
Former Dea Operation Chief, Ray Donovan, said: “For those of us who have explored Mexican cartels for many generations, this is a truly historic moment.”
“We have never seen these many sent from Mexico to the US in one day,” Donovan said, according to NBC News.
Extradition came to the heel from the promise of Trump to impose tariffs of 25% on the goods imported from Mexico and Canada if these countries do not take steps to stop the flow of deadly opioid fental and other narcotics through their borders with the USA
These tariffs were suspended until next week after Mexico and Canada took steps to get rid of Trump’s concerns.
But the questions remain whether Trump will follow his promise to impose tariffs, AI Mexico and Canada are trying to convince Trump’s administration not to do so.
The extradition also happened the same day when Rubio, Bondi and the Minister of Defense of Peta Hegsetth met in Washington, DC, with a delegation of a high -level safety officer, including Foreign Minister Juan Ramona de La Fuente.
The Ministry of Justice has said that other leaders and cartel managers have been extradited to Mexico are facing US accusations involving murder, money laundering, recovering and drug trade.
The people extradited are members of the cartel recently labeled as foreign terrorist organizations, including Cardel Sinalo, Cártel de Jalisco Nueva Geneción, Cártel del Norete, La Nueva Familia Michoacana and Cártel de Golfo.
“These accused collectively were responsible for imports to the United States of massive quantities of poisons, including cocaine, methamphetamine, fentanil and heroin, as well as related acts of violence,” the DOJ statement said.
A State Department spokesman in a statement of a meeting of Rubi on Thursday with a Mexican official said: “Secretary Rubius expressed his gratitude for Mexico’s actions to secure our common border, including the deployment of 10,000 troops of the National Guard, as well as the great attacks of Fentanil and its chemicals for predecessors, and the expulsion of 29 main cases.
“Both parties agreed on the importance of ensuring a permanent action out of meetings and suggested the implementation of the schedule and return attacks to target clear goals and sustainable results,” said a spokesman.
