Lucknow Super Giants Mentor Zaheer Khan provided a huge update on Mayank Yadava fitness ahead of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 .. for their team as well as Indian cricket.

Mayank played a great role for Lucknow Super Giants at IPL 2024 in several games he played, but then injured himself. After recovery, he made his debut for the Indian National Cricket team in the series against the National Cricket Bangladesh.
Mayank had a great start to his international cricket because he chose four shots at the rate of economy of 6.92. However, after that, he was excluded from the series against South Africa and has not been out of action ever since.
Mayank was one of the main retention for Lucknow Super Giants ahead of the IPL 2025. The Premier Fast Bowler was retained for INR 11 crore and was a common second highest retaining for LSG together with Ravi Bishnoi.

With the approach of IPL 2025, LSG mentor Zaheer Khan wondered about Mayanka Yadava’s condition. He said they were talking to the recovery and fitness of Pacera with NCA. In an interview with Times of India, he explained:
“We had interesting conversations about his journey to recover and fit with NCA. We work with them and hope for their support. It is not only important for LSG, but also for the Indian cricket. “

Zaheer Khan added that the Mayanka Yadava caliber bowler should play a long period of time. He said he did his best to make sure that Pacer was 150% and would do everything possible to bring him into superior fitness. He elaborated:
“The bowler of his caliber should be played for a long time. I put in the effort and energy to give him the best environment for playing longer. We want 150% to answer him, so we will do everything we can to bring him to the top of fitness.”
Lucknow Super Giants recently called Rishabh Panto their captain for the IPL 2025. The guard became the most expensive shopping in the league history as the franchise acquired it for INR 27 Crore.
