The fighters of the M23 rebels progressed to the center of Bukavu, the capital of the southern Kivu, in the eastern democratic Republic of Congo, causing mixed patio and celebration scenes. It comes only a few weeks after the armed group supported in Rwanda seized Goma, in an unprecedented expansion of the Territory of the DRC under their control.
