Former English captain Kevin Pietersen was selected by Indian player XI as the upcoming champion trophy. However, in great surprise, Pietersen did not choose Harshit Wound and Rishabh Pant in his team.
The team did not have many surprises except Harshit Wounds in the bowling department. The wound recently introduced herself in all three Odra against England and could appear as an Indian Trump card in the champion trophy.
Kevin Pietersen chose KL Rahul as the guardian place and did not include Rishabh Pant in his team. Rahul was also a preferred selection of India for the keeper of the guards during the series of Going against England.

While talking to Star Sports, Kevin Pietersen spoke of an Indian combination of a champion trophy team. He thinks big players running under the belt, which will make the team happier.
“One thing will be happy that Virat Kohli has run today. So Rohit has running. Gill, Shreyas (Iyer), that’s a pretty terrible start, I tell you that,” remarks of former England.
Further speaking of a team combination, Pietersen chose KL Rahul via Rishabh Pant. Pietersen wants Rahul to face no more. The ball and preferred the place no. 5, instead of moving lower than the Axar patel.
“I want Kl Rahul in 5 because I want it to face many balls he got. Today he entered with 17 additions. And when you go in with more time, you can build it. I think Kl Rahul is not a guy who enters with three passes to go and Hit your 30 or 12 balls, “Pietersen said.
“Rahul is a guy who has to get into a one -day cricket. The best opportunity to give him that time is to hit him at 5,” he added.
