The Washington Metropolitan Police Directorate (MPD) announced that it was invited to the 1300 Maryland Avenue Avenue in the southwest, around 1:15 pm on Wednesday due to an attack report. It is understood that the incident happened in his place of residence.
MPD said he was conducting an active criminal investigation and did not give further details about the incident.

Spokesman Mills, a former military combat veterans and president of the supervisor for supervision and intelligence, announced a statement to Fox News Digital, stating that it was Congressman denies any injustice.
“This week, it was requested for the implementation of the law to resolve the private matter at the Mills Congressman’s residence,” a spokesman said. “Congressmen Mills fiercely denies any injustice and is convinced that every investigation will quickly clean that issue.”
MPD said that after his leadership became aware of this, there was an immediate inspection of his initial response to ensure that all procedures were followed. The MPD -Internal Affairs Office is currently investigating the issue, the department said.

DC Mayor Muriel Bowser asked about an incident at the briefing for journalists on Friday and said she was aware of the report.
“I can confirm that there is an internal investigation into ensuring that all our members did what they needed to do, according to MPD politics, so they can confirm it,” Bowser said. “But I can’t talk to a police report with anything.”
