The Israeli government received a certificate of the identity of the deceased hostages that would be released from Gaza on Thursday.
The hostage headquarters and missing families confirmed the names of Shiri Bibas and her two children, as well as Odeed Lifshitz, a journalist and peace activist. All four were killed while in the detention of Hamas.
“We have received the news of the breaking of the heart that Shiri Bibas, her children Ariel and Kfir and Oded Lifshitz are no longer with us. These news cut like a knife through our hearts, hearts and hearts of people around the world,” the organization wrote.
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahua’s office confirmed that they received a list of deceased hostages on Wednesday.
