Hamas on Friday announced that he had addressed the Red Cross, the body of a woman whom Hamas officials believe belonged to Shiri Bibas, an Israeli mother whose capture with her two young sons during October 7, 2023 became a symbol from the anxiety of the earth.

Statements on Friday, less than 24 hours after Hamas provided Israel wrong remains, were the latest development in down the crises who made up the first phase of a tribute fire with Hamas. So far, 19 living Israeli hostages have traded hundreds of Palestinian prisoners.

But early on Friday, Israel said that one of the bodies Hamas had handed it not to Mrs. Bibas. The Israeli army called the finding of the “breach of the greatest seriousness” of the ceasefire. In a statement, Hamas acknowledged the possibility of an error or “lying corpse”.
The first phase of the fire interruption agreement should run in less than two weeks, and Israel and Hamas have not yet agreed on the terms to expand the agreement into the next phase.
