The New York Federal Judge temporarily blocked Elona Musk and his team to approach the payment of the US Ministry of Finance, warning that he risked it to detect sensitive data.

The order published on Saturday morning is a new legal blow to the Technology Billionaire and its closest allies to comb through federal payment in an attempt to reduce the costs of the US government.

The court move followed in response to a legal challenge of 19 Democratic State Attorney General, who claimed that the Musk unofficial unit of “Government Efficiency Department” founded by President Donald Trump should not have access to personal information related to millions of Americans.

In the court order judge Paul Engelmayer from southern New York District wrote That “new policy” has shown the risk of “detecting sensitive and confidential information” and “increased risk that the systems in question will be more vulnerable than before hacking.”

He ordered any “political appointed, special government employees and any government employee” outside the US treasury should be limited in approaching agency data and to destroy all the information they received from Trump’s inauguration last month.

The command is expected to remain in place at least until the court hearing set for February 14.

The judge’s command emphasizes that the wide incentive of Trump and the male to select the state consumption selectively is facing his greatest obstacles in court, because he tests the limitations of the executive authority, as well as US privacy laws.

Earlier this week, the Federal District of Columbia District has ruled that foreigners should not be approved by access to the Treasury payment data, in response to a separate legal challenge brought by retirement representatives and government employees.

The White House tried to stifle the fears that Musk, who was proclaimed a “special government employee”, led the pantry. But Democrats are increasingly sounding alarm bells about “Doge” activities.

“Doge’s actions represent a double invasion of the financial security and privacy of Americans,” wrote Ron Wyden, the highest Democrat on the Senate Finance Committee, UA letter The acting of the Commissioner of the Directorate for Social Insurance, which manages government pensions for millions of Americans.

The Ministry of Finance did not immediately respond to the commentary request.
