Egypt’s President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi has decided not to travel to Washington at the White House talks if US President Donald Trump’s plan to move Palestinians from Gaza is part of the agenda, according to two Egyptian security sources. Trump’s proposal to permanently move more than 2 million Palestinians from Gaza’s belt has caused anger in the Arab world, as he requested that Egypt and Jordan accept the displaced population, threatening to withdraw assistance from both countries that listen to the US if they reject.
