“I’m out there, brother. It was great to play here, but at the end of the day I have to do what’s best for my career. … I’m too competitor to be there,” Hill said in January. Hill later admitted that he gave these remarks during a moment of irritation.

Hill agreed to a restructured contract in the last off -season that collected his four -year total completely guaranteed money at $ 106.5 million. His contract lasts until 2026.
