Officials say that they are underway to save people to save people trapped in a wreck.
At least 30 people died and many others were injured when the bus knocked down the plain in front of the town of Guatemala, according to officials.
Mynor Ruano, a spokesman for the City Fire Department, told reporters on Monday that the efforts were “saved by other people who were trapped” in the wreck.
The bus was moving to the traffic route in the capital of Guatemala on Monday, when it fell from Puente Belece, a highway crossing bridge crossing the road and a stream.
The shots shared by the Social Medicine Fire Department showed that rescue workers pull victims from the plane. The pictures showed the bus upside down.
Bernardo Arevalo, President of Guatemala, proclaimed three days of national mourning and deployed an army and a disaster agency to assist in the efforts on answers.
“I stand in solidarity with the families of the victims who woke up the heart news today,” he said. “Their pain is my pain.”
Mayor of Guatemala City, Ricardo Quinonez, said at social media that emergency services were assigned while traffic police were working to establish alternative routes in the affected area.
