‘AI Powerhouse’: White House encourages Americans to provide ideas for artificial intelligence strategy

“Trump’s administration is dedicated to ensuring that the United States are an undeniable leader in AI technology,” said the chief deputy director of the Office of Science and Technology Policy Lynne Parker. “This Ai action plan is the first step in securing and promoting American AI dominance, and we look forward to the listing of comments and innovative public ideas.”

Americans can share their proposals on the Federal Registry website by mid -March.
White houses’ officials said they seek contribution to interested public parties, including academic communities, industrial groups, private sector organizations, state, local and tribal governments and others.

Officials said the AI Action plan “would define priority political actions to increase the US position as AI power plant and prevent unnecessary burden on the application of the private sector.”
“With a real Government politics, the American leadership of AI continued to promote the bloom of people, economic competitiveness and national security,” the White House said.
Trump’s administration says focusing on AI was a promise for president, after addressing the recall of the former president Joe Biden’s The executive order they said was distracted by the AI innovation and imposed an “unnecessary government control” due to the development of AI. The order and focus on AI are not new for Trump.

Trump also took executive actions in 2020 to determine the first guidelines for the adoption of the AI Federal Agency for providing services to the American people and “encouraging public confidence” in technology.
White house officials said that the renovated focus of Trump’s administration on Ai was rooted in “free speech and blooming.”
