The inhabitants of about 30 buildings were evacuated for fear that the collapse could crack gas pipes and cause an explosion. The water broke below the road, cutting off the water homes.
“It’s an absolute nightmare. Terrible,” said Tracey Jones, whose daughter, son -in -law and granddaughter were evacuated.
Ses Water said the water was partly renovated by residents on Wednesday.
