A fugitive bomber who “disappeared without a trace” after a bookstore attack in Italy was arrested in Spain, police says

The Italian anarchist convicted of bombing in 2017 in Florence and in the run for almost two years was arrested in Spain, police in Italy said on Saturday.

DNA on the bomb followed him to Vespertina, police said.

Police in Italy said they were investigating Vespertin’s ties with other anarchists across Europe and contacted authorities in Spain, France, Switzerland and Greece.
