Nicolas Anelka
Liverpool 2001-2002, Man City 2002-2005
The talented French striker Nicolas Anelka for the first time in England made his mark with Arsenal before heading abroad with Real Madrid and former PSG club.
However, Anelka would return to the Premier League, joined Liverpool on loan in December 2001 by the end of the 2001/02 season. During this time he scored five goals, but the Reds did not continue the constant move, opening the door to Man City.
Anelka cost Man City around £ 13m and scored a goal in the last derby of Manchester at Maine Road, as well as in a 2-1 victory at Anfield against Liverpool to soften their four hopes. In total, the attacker scored 45 times in 103 games for City.

Mario Balotelli
Man City 2010-2013, Liverpool 2014-2016
Man City and Liverpool were the only clubs that Mario Balotelli played in the Premier League, and Italian certainly influenced and outside the field in England.
After reuniting with Robert Mancini on Etihad, Balotelli won the Golden Boy Award with the City and Premier League and FA Cup. His only Assistance to the Premier League in the Sky Blue T -shirt was for the unforgettable winner of Sergio Aguero against the QPR 2012.
He spent a year away from England before returning in 2014, and Liverpool brought Italian as a replacement for Luis Suarez. Balotelli, however, has only reached four times for the reds.

Craig Bellamy
Liverpool 2006-2007, 2011-2012; Man City 2009-2011
The second controversial striker during his playing days was Craig Bellamy, who had two 12 months with Liverpool and a two -year spell with Man City.
In 2012, Welshman raised a Cup league with Reds, but failed to win silver accessories in Manchester. Bellamy scored a total of 18 league goals for Liverpool and scored 15 times in the top flight to City.

Scott Carson
Liverpool 2005-2008, Man City 2019
Goott Carson goalkeeper won the Champions League with Liverpool and Man City, though without a regular role for any side.
After coming through the Leeds United Academy, Carson joined Liverpool in 2005 to give the competition for Jerzy Dudek, but failed to break into the first team plans of Reds and left it permanently three years later.
In 2019, Carson signed the city side of Pep Guardiola as his goalkeeper of the third choice. He was a popular figure behind the scenes, but he made only two appearances from Etihad, debut in May 2021.

Nigel Clough
Liverpool 1993-1996, Man City 1996-1998
The son of an iconic manager Brian Clough, Nigel Clough, was versatile forward during his playing days, and Liverpool sold him to Man City during the 1990s.
After coming to Nottingham Forest, Clough cost Liverpool £ 2.25m in 1993 and scored twice on his Reds debut. However, things failed at Anfield and three years later, Liverpool lost a little sale of Clough to Man City.
The attacker could not save citizens from relegation during his time there, and he would be remembered for his days in Forest and Burton Albion.

Robbie Fowler
Liverpool 1992-2001, 2006-2007; Man City 2003-2006
The Robbie Fowler striker is best remembered for his time as a Liverpool player, Penning of professional expressions after passing through the Reds Academy in 1992.
He played an important role in Liverpool’s 2000/01 tall Cup. And after the magic with Leeds United, he joined Man City in 2003. Fowler made just under 100 appearances for City, but return to Liverpool on a free transfer materialized in 2006.
In total, Fowler achieved 183 times and provided 50 assists in 369 Liverpool games.

Dietmar Hamann
Liverpool 1999-2006, Man City 2006-2009
Defense midfielder Dietmar Hamann probably enjoyed the premiere of his career as a Liverpool player, scoring 283 appearances for Reds and winning eight major honors at Anfield.
Bizarnly, Hamann left Liverpool and spent his day as Bolton Wanderers player after in 2006 with the club before contracting contracts, but he had thoughts on the move and was allowed to join Man City for £ 400,000.
German spent three years with City before ending his career at MK Dons.

David James
Liverpool 1992-1999, Man City 2004-2006
Goalkeeper David James made more for Liverpool (277) than any of his nine other clubs during his career. After seven years at Anfield, James was sold to Aston Villa and then played for West Ham before moving to Man City.
It was known as the central forward last day of the 2004/05 season, and City wants to qualify for Europe, James has made 100 appearances for City.

Mark Kennedy
Liverpool 1995-1998, Man City 1999-2001
Mark Kennedy, who has played as a left-wingfielder or left back during his career, is best known for his time as a Wolves player, but also proved to be Liverpool and Man City.
The reds paid around £ 1.5m to sign Kennedy from Millwall when he was only 18, but only 20 appearances have performed in three years.
The Republic of Ireland, the Republic of Ireland, 34-Kap, had time with City for more than a millennium and helped them win a promotion, but he was also part of the team that turned out.

Steve McManaman

During his playing days, Steve McManaman passed the Liverpool Academy and spent nine years as a professional at Merseyside. McManaman won two trophies with Liverpool and made more than 350 appearances before joining Real Madrid in a free transfer.
Now known for his role of co -champion, McManaman ended his playing career after MAN City published it in 2005 at the age of 33.

Man City 2010-2015, Liverpool 2015-2023
James Milner is probably the most successful player for Man City and Liverpool, winning 12 honors in his spells for both clubs.
The versatile star came through the Leeds United Academy and joined Man City after spells in Newcastle United and Aston Vili. He would play a key role in the City transformation to the top, but Etihad left on a free transfer of 2015.
Milner would be strongly introduced during the Jurgen Klopp era on Anfield, raising the Champions League with Reds. A total of Milner has made more than 500 appearances in combination for both clubs (Liverpool 332, Man City 203).

Albert Riera
Man City 2006, Liverpool 2008-2010
Some may not realize that Albert Riera had a short magic on loan in Man City from Espanyol for years before his eventual permanent transfer to Liverpool 2008.
He only reached the wing once for citizens, and Liverpool paid £ 8 million two years later and Riera T -shirt no. 11. Spaniard joined the transfer day for the transfer, but struggled to fulfill his expectations and sell it in 2010.

Raheem Sterling
Liverpool 2012-2015, Man City 2015-2022
Probably the highest transfer that included two clubs saw Raheem Sterling leaving Liverpool for Man City 2015. The wing went through the Anfield Academy and made an impact at the level of the first team, which resulted in the City paid a fee of only less than £ 50m.
At the time, he became the most expensive British player and helped City to win 10 major honors, scoring 339 appearances and scored 131 goals at the time.

Daniel Sturridge
Man City 2006-2009, Liverpool 2013-2019

Many will remember the Toure’s wheel during his time in Arsenal, which he left in Man City in 2009. Ivorian will continue to help City to win his first Premier League title three years later, and Toure has made 102 appearances at Etihad.
He then left Manchester in Liverpool in 2013 and took T -shirt number 4, but failed to follow his successes in the Premier League with Arsenal and City with Reds.
