‘We appreciate life, every life’: ‘The people who are still alive must be returned, to reunite with loved ones’

While a few more Israeli hostages returning to his families after 15 months of captivity, journalist France 24 Mark Owen welcomes Anat Ron-Kendall from the Talac Square in Tel Aviv. Mrs. Ron-Kendall lost her father on October 7, when the Hamasa militants and their allies performed the most deadly attack ever on Israeli soil. While he continues to grieve for losing his father and the life of so many others who are brutally taken away by him, she remains “resistant” and “happy about the families who are joined again” while experiencing a wide bust of emotions: “Sadness, care and all happiness mixed.” And she is further striving to distinguish between gauze people from the Hamas militants who took control of Gaza almost two decades ago. Mrs. Ron-Kendall appreciates “life, every life”, wants to see as much as possible to the hostage to return to their loved ones, at all costs, and also wants to see people in Gaza “to return in some way of normality.”
