Gurbaz’s heroic strike fell short in the end
The two maximums lifted the Afghan opener’s spirits a lot. Gurbaz and Jacks formed a strong base for the Capitals and had a partnership of 154 runs between them. Gurbaz contributed 89 runs for his team off 43 balls with 3 boundaries and 7 sixes. The dismissal floodgates for the Capitals opened after Gurbaz was returned to the pavilion Noor Ahmed in 13. more than the match. The entire Capitals middle order collapsed like a deck of cards which eventually paved the way for the Super Giants to win by a narrow margin of 2 runs.
