Dubai Capitals beat MI Emirates by 1 run
As for the match result, Dubai Capitals secured a stunning one-run win over MI Emirates, thanks to exceptional bowling performances from Gulbadin Naib and Olly Stone.
Fans witnessed a thrilling finish to the last ball at the Dubai International Stadium. Despite Nicholas Pooran’s brilliant 61 off 40 balls for MI Emirates, his efforts fell short as the Capitals etched their name in ILT20 history with the lowest margin of victory.
MI Emirates seemed to be cruising towards victory, needing just 16 runs from 15 balls. However, a remarkable comeback from the Capitals bowling attack turned the game around. Naib produced an outstanding spell, taking 3 for 13, while Stone chipped in with a crucial 2 for 14, sealing a dramatic win for his side.
