I’d Still like to play the ashes at bar minimum – USman Khawai
The USman Khawaja is a hesitant to determine a specific deadline for retirement, but he hopes to be part of the Australian team for the ASHES series against England 2025/26. The South stated that it was better to take ‘one summer at the same time’ than to plan more than that.
“There are definitely those thoughts (giving up in Sydney) in my head, I’m not afraid to talk about it. I’m a man,” Khawai said.
“I would still like to play for Ashese on a minimum. I try not to think too much in advance, this is as in advance as I will think. As long as we win, I still contribute, my body still feels good, for me it is more like one summer (Instead of withdrawing after Ashes). “
It was a relationship of love and hatred – USman Khawai
This 38-year-old should open a match for Australia in the series, given his strong performance during the 2023 India tour, where he was the top scorer. Khawaja, who had previously faced criticism for his record in Asia, now feels more relaxed with the natural ups and downs of the crisletks.
“(Playing on the subcontinent) is a relationship of love and hatred,” he said.
“(But) there will be moments when you will achieve running, moments when you are not going to run.
