PCB responds to the absence of an Indian flag in Karachi
During the interview with IANS, the undiscovered source of PCB claimed that the Indian flag was not raised because the blue men did not travel to Pakistan because of the champion trophy. The source made it clear that only the flags of these countries will be raised at the stadiums that will play their matches in Pakistan.
“As you know, India does not come to Pakistan to play their matches during the 2025 ICC champion; the National Stadium in Karachi, the Krishtka Rawalpindi stadium and the Gaddafi stadium in Lahore, they raised the flags of the countries to play to say the place,” the source said.
The PCB source said the Committee should not submit an official statement of this issue because it believes it is only related to social media and can damage the image of the Committee to the wrong facts.
“I don’t think PCB does not even have to make an official statement about it. It is clear that the controversy has been done without facts and aims to damage Pakistan’s image with false news,” the source said.
In addition to the Indian flag, Bangladesh flag is currently missing. The source claimed that Bangladesh had yet to arrive in Pakistan because their first game in Dubai was against India. Their flag will be raised after they arrive in Pakistan.

Why is the tournament played in a hybrid model?
