Wigan Warriors Captain Liam Farrell and Skipper Warrington Wolves George Williams talked to Sky Sports about “Crazy, superior” feelings ahead of their Historical Super League match in Las Vegas.
Champion defender Wigan is facing a Warrington Statesside on Saturday at the Allegiant Stadium, part of the four -time LIVEMENTS IN LAS VEGAS ALL Live on Sky Sports.
Over 10,000 Rugby League fans traveled from the UK to an event in Las Vegas, which also contains two games from the Australian NRL of women’s international between England and Australia.
“It’s crazy. He just felt it about it, and be here in Las Vegas and fun and what’s going on around us, be able to play a rugby league here will be surreal,” Wigan’s Farrell said Sky Sports.
“The launch was great, both were well represented by both clubs and what way we started weekly. When we were in the back, Aussie guys were blown away from the support we received and the noise they received [Super League fans] made.
“I understand that there are two points, but there is a bigger picture. We want to really good to represent a super league and put our profile outside and what we can create. So far we have done a great job this week. We’re in a great place. I think you have to enjoy while you can.
“I think it will feel like finally, definitely. It was a lot of hype’s for three, four months, and the upgrade was great. We look forward to having the opportunity to play here.
“NRL did it great last year, but we just want to represent the Super League well and hope that we can show Mark the Super League and the Rugby Style we play in that league.”
Captain Warrington Williams repeated many of Farrell’s thoughts.
“There is a huge excitement. As players, you want to be involved in the biggest games, the biggest occasions, and that’s it, really, for the Super League,” he said. “It has never been done before, I have never been to Vegas before, so we just want to take the opportunity and put a show.
“I’ll have a smile on my face, I like to be involved in the biggest occasions. There is a little pressure on, but I think it’s a privilege. We are privileged to be here.
“I am proud that the captain is leading. Me and Liam have known each other for a long time, but when we play on Saturday, it will all be a job.”

Asked to choose one player from the opposition to watch out, said Skipper Warrington Williams …
“This one is pretty light. Bevan Franch is, in my opinion, the best player in the competition.
“It puts it in England in the seat so I’m sure it will do the same. Just get down and watch it. I don’t want to bind it too much!
“I hope he doesn’t play too well against us on weekends, but he’s a huge part of the game, so watch him.”
Asked the same question, Wigan Skiper Farrell chose his opposite man …
“If I have to be ashamed of it, it would be George [Williams].
“If George gets what she wants from the game and the game flows on her way, it’s pretty hard to handle, and we know that.
“I think he was always the same. He is definitely a threat. We don’t want him to play too well on Saturday, but we understand that there are many threats that he could pose against us.”

All actions from the event will be Live on Sky Sports on Saturday From 8.30pm. After the bumper buildup, Wigan Warriors vs Warrington Wolves will start at 9:30 pm and Canberra Raiders VS New Zealand Warriors of midnight.
The Australian Jillaros against England will be held from 2am at 2am, and the festival has closed with Penrith Panthers VS Cronulla-Sutherland Sharks from 4.30 in the morning.
