Top NJ Comptroller Official Quits Suddenly, Removed from State Voter Roll After Change of Residence
Tiffany Williams Brewer, who resigned New Jersey The National Commission of Inquiry, shortly after the watchdog agency announced her appointment as executive director, made the sudden move after Asbury Park Press reported that she claimed the property in Maryland as her principal residence last year, but voted in the Garden State in the November election.
The media, which released the owner’s immigration affidavit dated March 13, 2024, reported that the document shows Williams Brewer will occupy the Maryland residence for at least seven of the next 12 months.
Williams Brewer voted in Tinton Falls during last year’s presidential election, the Asbury Park Press reported, citing the Monmouth County Board of Elections.
“Monmouth County election officials take the integrity of the election process very seriously,” Monmouth County Clerk Christine Giordano Hanlon said in a statement. “After being referred by the County Clerk, the Supervisor/Registrar of Elections investigated the matter and decided to refer it to the Monmouth County Prosecutor’s Office for review and will proceed to remove this person from the Monmouth voter rolls.”
Monmouth County Supervisor of Elections Christopher P. Siciliano told Fox News Digital that he removed Williams Brewer from the voter rolls, but noted that she could be reinstated if she provides proof that she meets New Jersey registration requirements.

She also served on an interim basis in the day-to-day leadership role of SCI following the death of former Executive Director Chadd W. Lackey in a car accident in July,” the agency noted in a news release from on January 6 in which she announced her appointment as executive director.
