Councilwoman Sharon Durkan posted her response to X after Homan said she would “bring hell” to Beantown after police commissioner Boston Michael Cox recently He doubled on the city’s sanctuary policies.
“You said you had doubled that you were not helping police officers to implement the law. I come to Boston and bring hell with me,” Homan said at a conservative conference on a political action (CPAC) on Saturday. “I looked at the numbers this morning … I stopped counting on nine. Nine rapists who were in Massachusetts prison, but instead of respecting the icy detention, you let them go to the street.”
“You’re not a police commissioner,” Homan continued. “Remove that badge from your chest. Put it into a table drawer. Since you became a politician. You forgot what it was like to be a cop.”

“It is smiling that someone who has spent his career to a police city smaller than a pile of Fenway Park thinks he can teach Boston about public security,” he read Durkan’s post.
“Commissioner Michael Cox serves to decline and believe in integrity,” the city official continued. “Tom Homan should know, let’s not get scared easily.”
