Lynsekey gently removed the New York fire department from the trails and rushed to the Bellevue hospital. He suffered from a broken skull, four broken ribs and a cracked spleen.
“I can’t thank them all enough, especially John and Jonathan for pulling me under that one train,” he said.
Said Good Morning America that he immediately asked about his beloved dogLeo.
“He’s 16. He’s a badger. He’s a salvation. So, I looked at the firefighters and I said, ‘I know I’m really, really hurt. I’m hurt really bad, but you have to help me get to my dog. ”

For five days he was in an intensive care unit.
“The care of the staff and the care team there were amazing,” he said. “Truly amazing.”
New Yorker shared that a death brush taught him that life was short.
“It’s a powerful reminder that all this can be taken to you at any time, and you have to continue. Life is too short,” he divided. “And I’ll move on.”

Less than an hour after the attack, the suspect was in custody. It was identified as Kamel Hawkins, 23, from Brooklyn. Hawkins, according to New York Police DirectorateThere are nine previous arrests.
