The Milan City Council passed the Air Quality Regulation 2020, which came into force on Wednesday.

The ban, however, does not apply to electronic cigarettes. The ban applies only to tobacco products.
In 2021, the ban was introduced for the first time, and it only applied to public transport stations, parks and greenery areas and other specific areas.
