The daughter of Jacob Zuma face the accusations of South Africa more than July 2021.

The daughter of former South African President Jacob Zuma, Duduzila Zuma-Sambudla, will be charged with her alleged involvement in the riot in 2021, who remained over 300 dead, prosecutors say.

Violence, chaos and fear broke through the port city of Durban and then spread to Gauteng, after Zumina prison launched intense protests four years ago.

Zuma-Sambudla, a controversial figure by itself, is charged with sharing burning posts on social media that have encouraged civic unrest.

The new party of her father, Umkhonto Wesizwe (MK), of which she is a higher member, said she would appear in Durban on Thursday and urged fans to “mobilize all land forces to attend numbers.”

Although she did not comment directly on the charges, Zuma-Sambladla shared a cryptic note on X, which simply said, “We see you.”

This is not the first time her name has been raised in connection with the riot in 2021, which are considered to be one of the bloodiest episodes in South Africa after Apartheid.

Zuma resigned as president in 2018 after nine years, in charge of corruption charges, which he claimed to be part of the political conspiracy.

Three years later, he was sentenced to 15 months in prison for disrespecting the court after refusing to testify to the Council that investigated corruption under its Presidency.

The protests broke out after surrendering to serve the sentence.

During the restlessness, Zuma-Sambudla was open to X, often shared pictures of destruction and chaos, followed by the inscription: “Kzn, see you.”

She used this phrase often during violence. In the now deleted post, she shared a video of someone who fired an automatic rifle on the poster of President Cyril Ramaphos.

In 2022, a spokeswoman from the elite police unit, Hawks, Brig Thandi Mbambo, told the local media that they did not investigate it directly, but she was appointed in statements from the source.

In response to that, Zuma-Sambudla said on X“I have no fear! I will not be intimidated! I beat dogs, now the masters come out! We see you!”

Simultaneously, Jacob Zuma Foundationhe said in a statement that the targeted were the children of the former president.

Last year, the South African Human Rights Commission (SAHRC) posted a report in which they said that the riots were “a carefully orchestrated event”.

But it was said that he could not find a direct connection with the arrest of Zuma.

In 2023, a former security guard was sentenced to 12 years in prison for his role in deadly clutter.

He was the first person to be prosecuted for clutter.

President Cyril Ramaphos, who inherited Jacob Zuma in 2018, described violence as a “attempt to rebel”.

It is estimated that more than 200 shopping centers were estimated that more than 150,000 jobs were lost during unrest, which lasted several days.

Last year, on Zuzo MK, he ran against his former party, Anc, in the elections, getting 15% of the vote to become the third largest party in the country.
