Spurs chasing £202k-p/w ‘superstar’ who could be their Marmoush
This season was full of incredible highs and terrible lows Tottenham Hotspur.
For example, despite blowing away both Manchester United and Manchester City Premier Leaguethey find alone down at 12but in League Cupthey have a 1-0 lead over Liverpool heading into the second leg of their semi-final.
So while their league campaign may be over, there is still plenty to play for and to secure Ange Postecoglou continues his record winning silver in his second season, Daniel Levy and Co need to give him some new talent this month.
Fortunately, recent reports have revealed that the North Londoners are closing in on a sensational striker who could do just that, a striker who has been compared to the prolific Omar Marmoush.
Tottenham Hotspur close to the sensational striker
According to a a recent GIVEMESPORT reportTottenham are keen to complete the signing of Randal Kolo Muani later this week.
The report claims that the North Londoners have been in talks with Paris Saint-Germain this week and that while the Parisians would prefer a buyout clause in the contract, Spurs are pushing for an option.
Interestingly, the report also confirmed that Manchester United and Juventus are keen to pounce on the deal, but their unwillingness to even consider the option of buying the Frenchman has left Levy and Co in a favorable negotiating position.
There are obviously still things that need to be worked out to finalize this loan deal, but as things stand, it looks like Spurs will get their man, and given his ability and the fact that he’s being compared to Marmoush, that can only be a good thing.
How does Kolo Muani compare to Marmoush
Well, as far as exciting game-changing strikers and in-demand strikers across Europe go, Marmoush is undoubtedly one of the most exciting players in the world, and given that he has amassed a sensational share 18 goals and 12 assists in 22 games this season, it’s not hard to see why.
Besides, where do the comparisons between him and Kolo Muani come from?
As has been the case so far this season, the French international has been limited to just 453 minutes of first-team football, and although he has amassed a reasonable pulling in three goals of involvement at the time, he was still only a rotational player in Paris.
Well, apart from their positional similarity and the fact that, before moving to PSG, the 26-year-old was also completely unstoppable for Eintracht Frankfurt and scored 40 goals in 46 appearances, this comparison primarily derived from FBref.
It compares players in similar positions in Europe’s top five leagues, the Champions League and the Europa League to create a list of the ten most comparable players for each, and, in this case, concludes that the Egyptian’s seventh most similar striker in the last 365 days is the Frenchman.

Ultimately, while the record from his time in Germany and the similarities to Marmoush should be reason enough for the North Londoners to go all out for the 26-year-old “superstar”, as he called him German legend Lothar Matthaushis international experience is another big bonus for his signing.
For example, dynamo has 202 thousand pounds a week he has already won 27 caps for the French national team, which, when you consider the quality of players in that team, is seriously impressive.
After all, Spurs need some attacking signings this month, and while he may not be the biggest name in the world, Kolo Muani could be the perfect addition to Postecoglou’s squad.
