Americans of a certain age remember success The era of Ronald Reagan in the 1980s. During his presidency, there was a real sense that America was “back.” Taxes were reduced by double digits. Americans were making more money on their investments. Inflation was falling. Homes were getting easier to buy. America produced the best movies and music, and personal computers entered people’s homes. We fought violent crime and drugs. Our army was being rebuilt, and the Soviet Union was in the rear. Plain and simple, America has prospered.
A poll from this fall shows that 80% of Americans think we are sharply divided on key issues. But in this moment of President Trump’s second inauguration, our country has a great, new opportunity to rally and bounce back. If President Trump succeeds, we will all succeed together.
It’s no secret that the last four years have been unnecessarily difficult for the American people. Joe Biden’s open border policy has left our cities devastated and our state budgets bankrupt. Fentanyl has spilled into our schools and neighborhood and poisoned our children. 40 years of high inflation made Americans poorer and produced interest rates that put home ownership out of reach for young people. Excessive regulation has stifled our industries. Almost every policy decision of the Biden White House puts America last.

But with Donald Trumpa new Golden Age can be realized. He promised to make America safe, strong and prosperous again. He has proven before he can fulfill those promises. Every family’s life will be better in his second term. We have a plan to get there.
President Trump will deregulate industries, revive our pioneering spirit of innovation, and jump-start our stagnant economy. He will restore America’s energy dominance by ending Biden’s war on American energy. And working with Congress, they will prevent the largest tax increase in American history. Our economy will grow, businesses will prosper, and workers will have more money in their pockets.

Already, President Trump’s staying power has led to ours enemies to desist from missile attacks and force terrorists to return to the negotiating table regarding American hostages. Common sense will be a central theme of Trump’s presidency. We all want a world where parents – not school bureaucrats – are in charge of their children, where women-only sports and spaces are protected, and where no one is punished or shamed for disagreeing with far-left, radical gender madness. The American people know in their hearts what is right, and re-respecting it will restore strength, dignity and national pride.
