Spain considers 100% tax on homes bought by non-EU residents to tackle housing crisis

Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez this week announced a plan to lower rents and house prices through a series of measures including building more public housing, higher taxes on holiday rentals and a tax increase of up to 100 percent on properties bought by non-EU residents.
