Pakistan court sentences former prime minister Imran Khan to 14 years in prison in land theft case, ARY News Reuters
ISLAMABAD (Reuters) – A Pakistani court sentenced former prime minister Imran Khan to 14 years in prison on Friday in a corruption case in the country, local broadcaster ARY News reported.
The verdict in the case, the biggest in terms of financial offenses Khan has faced, was handed down by an anti-corruption court in the prison in the city of Rawalpindi, where Khan has been imprisoned since August 2023.
