Shikhar Dhawan officially joins the new team after retirement
Former India beginner Shikhar Dhawan will perform for Team India Champions at the upcoming World Championship of Legends. Dhawan’s availability will enhance the Indian team for the upcoming season, which will be the second edition of the tournament.
The World Championship of Legends is a tournament that includes retired legendary players from all countries. The first edition of the tournament was played in 2024 and a huge success took place.

Shikhar Dhawan will play for Team India Champions on the toilet 2025
Shikhar Dhawan published his withdrawal from all forms of crislette on August 24, 2024 through social media. The left -handed has since appeared in various tournaments such as Legends League Cricsket and Nepal Premier League.
The co -owner of Team India Champions, Sumant Bahl, has been excited by the news with fans and claimed that Dhawanovo’s inclusion would make his team even stronger. Bahl also stated that his team would add a few more names to the Indian team for this season.
“Shikhar Dhawan adds a lot of flair and strength to our team while focusing on the defense of our toilet winner 1. We will keep some of the greats from last year and add some new players to make our team stronger and better,” Bahl told News 18.
The founder and executive director of the World Championship of Legends (WCL), Harshit Tomar, is also pleased with the addition of Shikhara Dhawan to this tournament and hopes to add more fans this season. Its goal is to restore the WCL to the old crisis days and expand the tournament globally.
“With the participation of Shikhara Dhawan, who comes to play for the second edition of the toilet, we are given the belief that our event will mean more for fiery fans of the cricket,” Tomar said.
“We are sure that we are moving in the direction of the league goal that was primarily to return the golden era of the crislette. Our focus would be primarily to get the right global participation in the coming days to make another edition unforgettable,” he added.
