Australian national cricket team player Scott Boland has achieved a unique feat in the history of Test cricket. The superb fast bowler became the oldest pacer to take 50 wickets in the longest format of the game at the age of 35 years 267 days since New Zealand’s Bevan Congdon (37 years 10 days) reached the milestone in February 1975.

Scott Boland has been at bat for the Indian national cricket team in the ongoing match. The fast bowler has looked Australia’s most dangerous player in the ongoing game and has been giving his team a blow time after time, putting the Jasprit Bumrah-led side under pressure.
Scott Boland drew first blood for his team when he removed Yashasvi Jaiswal and then never looked back. The fast bowler also removed Virat Kohli and followed it up with two crucial wickets of Rishabh Pant and Nitish Kumar Reddy on two consecutive balls.

Boland also scored 2000 runs in Test cricket and that also showed him to have an average in Test cricket. The fast bowler is 14th all-time with a 19.39 average.

Boland has a great series with the ball for the Australian cricket team. He has replaced Josh Hazlewood extremely well, who has played just two games in the ongoing 2024-25 Border-Gavaskar Trophy.
Boland has so far taken 15 wickets in the three matches he has played. With the kind of pace he looked in the running game, it’s fair to say he’s not far off another five-wicket haul for Australia’s national Test cricket team.

Coming into the match, the Australian National Cricket Team dominated the ball over the Indian National Cricket Team on the first day of the match. The visitors put in a very poor effort with the bat as they looked clueless against the match and bounce moment.
Rishabh Pant was the only batsman who looked good as he fought hard and dealt with the body shots. The keeper-batsman played a tough innings of 40 runs and Ravindra Jadeja (26) also played a vital hand. They would hope to cross 200 runs and give the bowlers something to fight for.
