Liverpool can move a staggering 26 points clear of rivals Manchester United if they beat the disappointing Red Devils on Sunday.

Here’s how Slot could set up its own Liverpool side up for a crucial match.
GK: Alisson – The goalkeeper of Liverpool still is one of the best – if not the the best – in the world and kept five consecutive goals at home with Man Utd. With the Red Devils having lost their last three matches, he would have liked a sixth on Sunday.
RB: Trent Alexander-Arnold – It was significant discussion over his future at Liverpool, but his performance at West Ham last time out shows why he is so integral to the Reds. It was an extraordinary displayboth in the last third and in its own half.
CB: Jarell Quansah – Ibrahima Konata is back in full training, but Sunday’s clash could come too soon for him. With Joe Gomez facing several weeks out with a hamstring problem, youngster Quansah could be called up to Anfield.

DM: Ryan Gravenberch – Liverpool’s Dutch cohort shone this term, with Gravenberch the beating heart of the midfield. The young midfielder continues to flourish in his new defensive role.
DM: Alexis MacAllister – Mac Allister has a goal and two assists in his last three games and has scored against Man Utd in the last term of the FA Cup. The Argentine will be crucial in controlling the midfield battle against an unconvincing opponent.
RW: Mohamed Salah – Despite providing a regarding news of his future at LiverpoolSalah’s performance on the pitch will not be affected against Man Utd. He has 15 goals and six assists in 16 appearances against the Red Devils.
