Rishabh Pant turns down captaincy of Delhi Ranji team; Virat Kohli needs to report the matter to Rohan Jaitley
Delhi’s squad for the next two Ranji Trophy matches has been revealed. Rishabh Pant has shown no interest in the captaincy, allowing Ayush Badoni to continue in the role. The goalkeeper-kicker, who is preparing to return to the domestic tournament, made himself available to the selection.
“The Delhi squad has been selected for the next two Ranji Trophy matches. Rishabh Pant has said that he does not want to captain the team. So Ayush Badoni remains the captain. Virat Kohli has been named in the squad but it depends on availability,” and a Sportsstar reporter wrote on X (formerly Twitter).
