Rishabh Pant collapses in agony when a brutal delivery from Pat Cummins hits him on the box

Indian cricketer Rishabh Pant looked like a completely different player with the bat in the ongoing fifth Test against the Australian national cricket team. The final match of the 2024-25 Border-Gavaskar Trophy between the teams is played at the Sydney Cricket Ground in Sydney.

Rishabh Pant, who came in to bat at No. 5, refrained from playing his natural game, especially after reportedly coming under fire from head coach Gautam Gambhir for his dismissals in the last game. The wicketkeeper-batsman played defensive cricket as he appeared to be in a shell.

Rishabh Pant, during his stay at the crease, also dealt with a lot of body blows in an attempt not to take over the bowling. However, the most painful blow came during the 49th over of the innings when the Indian cricket team player was hit in the box.

Australian national cricket team captain Pat Cummins bowled a sharp shot of good length that curved towards the corner and beat Rishabh Pant on the inside edge. The ball hit him in the box and he seemed to be in a lot of pain.

Rishabh Pant felt severe pain as he knelt on the ground. The physiologists rushed and attended the wicketkeeping competition of the Indian national cricket team.
