Released 6ft 5in WWE Star Drops Big Hint About Moving To AEW After Visiting Backstage At Worlds End
The former WWE star hinted at joining AEW after appearing in another major promotion. The star was also backstage at the recent Worlds End 2024 pay-per-view event.
The 6ft 5in star in question is currently a TNA star, AJ Franjo (fka Top Dolla) who was released from WWE in September 2023 after a brief three-year run in the promotion. Francis was known for being part of the Hit Row faction of the Stamford promotion. He has been performing at TNA since the beginning of 2024.
AJ Francis also challenged Nic Nemeth for the TNA World Heavyweight Championship at the recent Final Resolution 2024 event. Franjo was backstage at AEW Worlds End 2024 and allegedly met some of his friends in the locker room.
Meanwhile, AJ Francis hinted at leaving TNA and joining All Elite Wrestling. Francis recently posted a video on X talking about his future and teasing joining Tony Khan’s promotion or even returning to NXT:

As previously mentioned, former WWE star AJ Francis (fka Top Dolla) was backstage at AEW Worlds End 2024. The 34-year-old star confirmed his visit backstage with a post on X thanking Tony Khan, QT Marshall and Shawn Dean.

AJ Francis has been reinventing himself since being released from WWE and only time will tell if he will be seen at All Elite Wrestling in 2025.
