Los Angeles Rams rookie Jared Verse makes his feelings for Philadelphia Eagles fans abundantly clear.
Speaking with Los Angeles Times before Sunday’s NFC Divisional Round game, Verse was open about his feelings toward the Philadelphia fan base.
“I hate Eagles fans,” said Verse, who attended a three-year high school in Pennsylvania.

“They are so boring. I hate Eagles fans,” he continued.
Even seeing Eagles team colors will draw a rookie reaction from the Rams star.
“When I see that green and white, I hate it. I actually get upset. Like, I get really hot.”
The Rams are hoping that Verse will direct his anger towards the Eagles fans when he is on the court, as the team travels to Philadelphia to try to upset the Eagles.
The two teams met in Week 12 in Los Angeles, where the Eagles and the running back Saquon Barkleydominated.
The Eagles won that game 37-20, and Barkley went on a rampage, racking up 302 rushing yards, including 255 rushing yards with two touchdowns.
Verse said that even though the game was in Los Angeles, he could hear Eagles fans booing, despite wearing headphones.
“I didn’t even do anything to them. It was my first time playing. Oh, I hate Eagles fans,” Verse said.
Eagles fans might return their hatred for Verse if he plays as well as he did in the Rams’ 27-9 win over Minnesota Vikings on Monday.

Verse recovered a fumble from a Vikings quarterback Sam Darnold and took it to the house for a 57-yard touchdown.
Verse’s regular season play puts him on the short list for a potential Defensive Rookie of the Year, as Verse had 4.5 sacks with 66 total tackles and was named to the Pro Bowl.
The Rams play the Eagles at 3:00 PM ET on Sunday, where the rookie is sure to hear the roar of the Eagles fans.
