Star of the Wolf Matheus Cunha is believed to be Arsenal’s top targetbut Vitor Pereira’s side are determined to make life difficult for them to sign the Brazilian this month as they try to tie him down to a brand new deal.

World-class wide options won’t exactly grow on trees this month, and January is a notoriously tricky window to navigate for most clubs, meaning Ayto and Arteta will have to be smart if they want to try and strengthen the squad.

While Cunha will be a very difficult buy, another option that could be more obtainable comes in the form of the outcast PSG Randal Kolo Muani.

The France star, who remains Didier Deschamps’ mainstay at international level, has been repeatedly linked with a move away from the Parc des Princes after falling out of favor under Luis Enrique.

Kolo Muani was completely left out of Enrique’s last two Ligue 1 squads against Lyon and Monaco, not to mention their Coupe De France win over RC Lens on penalties, suggesting his future is far away from the French capital.

PSG have given the go-ahead for Randal Kolo Muani to leave for £50m as Arsenal consider a deal

According to Italian news outlet Tuttosport, north London rivals Tottenham, AC Milan, Juventus and Turkish champions Galatasaray, along with Arsenal, are weighing up a winter deal for the 26-year-old while PSG are open to offers.

Arsenal are believed to be considering signing Kolo Muani in Januaryand PSG directors would ideally sell him outright and give the go-ahead for the move, should they receive an offer of around £50m.

This price would obviously knock Milan and Juve out of the race from Serie A, giving Arsenal a boost in their pursuit of his signature, but it is not clear whether the club is willing to fork out that much for Kolo Muani.

“He is a striker who offers different playing options to our team. He is very complete and has an impressive volume of play,” said the Real Madrid star Kylian Mbappe on Muani.

“We are happy with the game he played on Friday and I hope he scores tomorrow (Monday). We will try to get him to score.”
