“If the players don’t play Early trophy without valid medical or health reasons, it would have an impact on their future India selection,” the report added. Meanwhile, a BCCI official remarked, “There is no substitute for spending time at the crease to regain confidence. It is for the player, no matter how experienced, to realize it,” said a BCCI official.
