NIKON TO EXHIBIT AT CES 2025 By Investing.com

LAS VEGAS, January 5, 2025 /PRNewswire/ — CES STAND #19504 Nikon (OTC:) Corporation (Nikon) will exhibit at CES 2025, one of the world’s largest digital technology fairs, which will be held in Las Vegas, Nevadaof January 7 to 10. Nikon’s stand (#19504) will be located in the Central Hall at ul Las Vegas Convention Center (LVCC).

As outlined in the Mid-Term Management Plan, Nikon aims to become a key technology solutions company in a global society where humans and machines seamlessly co-create by 2030. Nikon’s booth will offer interactive and experiential content that showcases our state – the cutting-edge technologies that support the foundation of society and creativity, along with co-creation initiatives with our partners.

Nikon is also pleased to announce that the Z6III mirrorless camera has been selected as a CES innovation

Awards ® 2025 Honoree in the Image category. The Nikon Z6III features the world’s first partially stacked CMOS sensor that delivers ultra-fast readout speeds and high frame rates, making it the most versatile, capable and powerful mid-range mirrorless camera designed to give photographers and videographers unparalleled performance. The Z6III will be on display at the Innovation Awards Showcase at CES 2025, as well as in Nikon’s booth with other Z-series mirrorless cameras and lenses.

Main exhibits at the Nikon stand:

  • Immersive video content: Video taken by drone Nikon Creates Corporationsubsidiary of Nikon, will be displayed at the entrance to the stand. The footage, shown on two large screens measuring 7m x 3m (23ft x 10ft) and 2.5m x 3m (8ft x 10ft), will offer visitors an immersive experience.
  • Robotic vision system: The system enables flexible robot operation, equipped with dynamic vision that surpasses humans and an image processing engine. The demonstration will take place in a futuristic kitchen environment where a robotic visual system will collect items flexibly, quickly and accurately. Nikon’s “C3 eMotion” is built into a robotic arm, which packs the parts needed for robotic joints.
  • Riblet processing: Inspired by shark skin, microscopic grooves are created on the surface of the material using Nikon’s original laser processing technology. This reduces frictional resistance, such as air and water, and can improve energy efficiency in various areas. Visitors will be able to see real materials that have undergone riblet processing and take part in a quiz using the touch screen.
  • Camera system in the vehicle: In cooperation with Mitsubishi Fuso Truck and Bus Corporationthe innovative in-vehicle camera system integrates telephoto and wide-angle lens functions (release December 19, 2024). Visitors can experience the view from inside the truck while experiencing the advantages of this system in checking the far and near periphery simultaneously, as VR recordings.
  • Nikon Z series of mirrorless cameras and lenses: In addition to viewing the latest product in the Z series, visitors will be able to have their portraits taken by a professional photographer using the new Nikon Z50II. This is an opportunity for show goers to receive a free updated headshot or social media profile shot taken with high quality Nikon equipment. Participants can register on the spot to participate. Furthermore, Nikon Inc.subsidiary of Nikon, entered into a Space Act contract with the company National Aeronautics and Space Administration (OUR) to support the development of the Handheld Universal Lunar Camera (HULC) to be used for the Artemis campaign, where OUR will explore the Moon for scientific discoveries, technological advances, and learn how to live and work on the lunar surface as it prepares for a human mission to Mars. OUR plans to use the Nikon Z9 (launched on International Space Station in December 2021), modified to be compatible with space missions, starting with Artemis III, which will send the first humans to explore the Moon South pole region. The CES 2025 exhibit will feature items such as a thermal insulation blanket that will protect the camera and its lens from dust and extreme temperature changes in the lunar environment.
  • Virtual production: An experiential exhibition called “Studio Extreme” will be set up where visitors will be able to participate in the creation of videos that merge the real and virtual worlds. Studiobot LT, a robotic arm and motion control system from Mark Roberts Motion Control Limited (MRMC), a subsidiary of Nikon. A cinema camera will be attached to the end of the arm RED Digital Cinema, Inc.which became a wholly owned subsidiary of Nikon in April 2024. Visitors can stand in front of a video backdrop projected onto a giant LED screen and create their own weather TV program while posing as a forecaster.
