Miami Dolphins Week 18 Injury Report feat. Tua Tagovailoa
The Denver Broncos lost to the Cincinnati Bengals in overtime on the road last weekend, missing a chance to end the Miami Dolphins’ postseason hopes and earn their first postseason trip in eight years. The Dolphins are still in the postseason race, thanks to that outcome and their Week 17 win over the Cleveland Browns.
In Week 18, the Dolphins will take on the 4-12 New York Jets, who are currently ranked seventh in the 2025 NFL Draft. Miami will qualify for the playoffs for the third straight season if they win and the Broncos lose to Kansas City Chiefs at home.
Miami’s injury report for the key Week 18 game is below.

Miami Dolphins injury report for Week 18
The Miami Dolphins‘the injury situation is still dominated by the fullback Tua Tagovailoahas a hip problem, but on Wednesday three players missed training entirely due to injuries.
Additionally, forward Kendall Lamm was placed on injured reserve on Wednesday. It’s unclear what put Lamm on injured reserve, as he played against the San Francisco 49ers in Week 16 and Cleveland on Sunday after missing the Week 15 game against the Houston Texans with a back injury.
Linebacker Anthony Walker Jr. (knee), safety Jordan Poyer (knee/finger) and forward Terron Armstead (knee) also missed Miami’s practice on Wednesday. Defensive tackle Calais Campbell (rest) also did not play, but has no injury concerns.
Walker has yet to return to practice after missing last week’s win over the Cleveland Browns. As for Armstead, he went down with a knee injury during the first half of last weekend’s game and did not return.
Four other important Dolphins players were also listed as limited participants in Wednesday’s practice: safety Jevon Holland (ankle), punter Jake Bailey (back), wide receiver Jaylen Waddle (knee), wide receiver Tyreek Hill (ankle/back) and Tagovailoa ( hip).
Tagovailoa is dealing with a hip injury he suffered against the Houston Texans in Week 15. He was able to play with the injury in Week 16 against the 49ers, but was unable to play last week against the Browns.
Coach Mike McDaniel announced Wednesday that the team will be getting a backup quarterback Tyler Huntley ready as QB1 for Week 18. Additionally, he stated that the team will have time to return to Tagovailoa during the week if he is fully recovered.
Linebacker Duke Riley participated fully in Wednesday’s practice despite having a foot problem listed on the injury report.
