Man Utd transfer news

The Red Devils are increasingly desperate for reinforcements and are edging closer and closer to the dangers of the relegation zone Premier League enters the new year. Ruthless from INEOS once again…

To say this is an important month on the field would be an understatement, but the same can be said for the work that needs to be done outside of action. For that matter, transfer rumors have already been circulating.

United’s need for a clinical goalscorer is pretty much an open secret these days and, as such, names like Victor Osimhen and Viktor Gyokeres were already mentioned in the January transfer window – both would improve immediately Reuben Amorimfrom the side. Meanwhile, along with the two strikers, one future star could also steal the headlines.

According to Caught Offside, Manchester United and INEOS are now planning to repeat Fernandes to sign Rodrigo Mora in a deal that could see the 17-year-old’s £55m release clause triggered at Porto.

The young attacking midfielder is enjoying a similar rise to Fernandes in Portugal, who stole the show at Sporting before completing a well-known move from the Lisbon side to Manchester United.

Having progressed since then and even becoming the Red Devils’ latest captain, Fernandes could still have the chance to welcome a boy wonder in the form of Mora in the January transfer window or, indeed, when the summer arrives.

“Special” Mora can follow Fernandes’ path

Just 17 and already attracting the attention of Manchester United, Mora could follow in Fernandes’ footsteps by swapping Portugal for Old Trafford in 2025. The young offensive midfielder is already leaving his mark in senior football, scoring three goals and assisting three more to make it six goals in just seven Portuguese League games so far this season.

So it’s no surprise that Mora has earned high praise Football talent scout Jacek Kuligwho called the Porto star “a special talent” at the end of last year.

If he is anything like Fernandes, then Manchester United will be in good partnership if INEOS go ahead and secure the teenager’s signature sooner rather than later.

The two advanced midfield roles in Amorim’s system are ready for such a duo and could finally solve Manchester United’s attacking woes and move them beyond the fear of the relegation battle.
