However, a move will likely have to wait until the summer, as the French side are unwilling to sanction the left-back’s mid-season departure.

It is vital that Amorim brings in players capable of playing in his preferred three-back system, and the PSG man certainly fits the bill in that regard, given that played in a winger role during his time at Sporting CP.
